Animator’s math career

For my math career I choose an animator. They do many individual jobs. Animators use frames & key frames to give an illusion of movement. They use multiple images to create film, TV, videos and games.

To become an animator you would have to use math, art history, and studio art and computer techniques. Animators use college algebra, trigonometry, geometry, calculus one though two and linear algebra. There is two degrees that you can have to become an animator the Bachelor and the Masters degree in Fine arts. But a degree is not required.

Animators deal with a lot of math. You use algebra to show the object is rotated; shifted, and to show whether the subject has been made bigger or smaller. Sometimes they use special affects and make the scene sparkle if it needs to. Trigonometry helps rotate and move the characters. Animators use geometry figures to give the subject it shape and form. Calculus is used to light the scenes. They use subdivision surfaces to smooth out objects. They also use equations and harmonic coordinates to make the characters move in a realistic fashion.

Other interesting facts about animators are that they use hundreds and hundreds of frames to give about four seconds of screen time. They do hand drawn, pen and paper sketches or photo shops. Their salary is as high as ninety-nine thousand one hundred thirty dollars a year. I choose this career because I have an interest in art.
