In this career you will need a lot of college and degrees. A PH.D and Medical degree will be needed for this career. You will also need to take college algebra. Most Epidemiologists will also have to conduct data analysis surveys. You will also be using research methods, and mathematical statistics. Some of the diseases they may track are measles, mumps, and rubella. They also monitor the spread of control or infection, strain structures and interactions. Here are some other interesting facts about Epidemiologist: Only 57% of Epidemiologist work for the government, 12% work in hospitals, 11% in colleges and universities, and 9 % in the American Cancer Society.
