Marine Biology is very complicating and you have to work hard in order to achieve. Marine Biologists have to study living organisms and much of the environment. Marine Biologists are supposed to perform research and then test the results for a better understanding of the oceans environment. In Marine Biology there are only two special areas to study: Zoology (the study of animals), or Microbiology (the study of microscope organisms).
For the study of Marine Biology you have to have certain type of degrees and have taken certain types of courses. For the degrees you have to get your Ph.D, Masters, and a Bachelors degree. For the courses you have to take the Independent research, industrial research, and college teaching. For math you have to take college algebra, trigonometry, calculus 1 and 2, and statistics. You have to know about graphs, plots, and taking samples and tests.
Marine Biology isn’t just all boring stuff there are pretty cool things about this job. For example, marine biologists have cured diseases by using sponges! They also get to go swimming with big whales and dolphins! But do you really want to be freaked out? Well Marine Biologists get to go scuba diving deep down into the ocean and sometimes they get to see animals that nobody has ever seen before! Also when they retire in some places their picture gets hung up on the wall to show respect. Marine Biologists are very important to the animals and us. That’s why when I grow up I want to be one.
