Zookeepers are hardworking animal helpers. In this job zookeepers care for animals. They feed them and watch the animals and take notes on their behavior. Zookeepers will also train animals for easy caring and vet check up. Zookeepers clean animal exhibits and keep eyes on animals to make sure they are healthy. Zookeepers also need to be careful to not get diseases or get hurt by any animals. The average salary of a zookeeper is about 40,000 a year or 14 dollars an hour.
You might think a zookeeper does not need to go to college but they attend 2-4 years in college. The average courses are biology, animal science, math, writing, English, science, and English. Many zookeeper works at pet shops, farmers, and vets. Also zookeepers need to be able to work in all weather conditions like rain, snow, hail, and extreme heat. Another subject is English
